1. Who we are
CitationDesk is published by Caslon Media, a media company registered in the Netherlands (KvK 64708101), run by Paulo de Vries. Contact: [email protected]. By using citationdesk.com you agree to these terms.
2. What CitationDesk does
CitationDesk is a free, no-signup website. You give it a URL; it fetches that page's publicly served HTML and related files (robots.txt, llms.txt) and returns a point-in-time AI Visibility Score plus generator tools that produce fixes you copy and paste yourself. It also publishes guides, benchmarks, and comparisons of third-party AI-visibility tools.
CitationDesk does not poll AI engines on a schedule, does not monitor your site over time, and has no dashboard, accounts, alerts, or API. Everything runs on demand, in your browser, when you ask for it.
3. What we expect from you
- Only submit URLs you have the right to audit.
- Don't hammer the tools with automated bulk requests — they are free and shared with everyone else.
- Don't scrape and republish CitationDesk content wholesale as your own; quoting with attribution is welcome.
- If you find a security issue, email [email protected] with subject "Security" before disclosing publicly. We respond within 48 hours.
4. Payment
CitationDesk is free. There are no paid tiers, no subscriptions, and nothing to cancel. Some outbound links to third-party tools may become affiliate links over time — disclosed on our affiliate disclosure page — and commissions never change what we publish.
5. Availability
The free AI Visibility Score and generator tools are live now. We aim to keep them available around the clock, but we do not offer an SLA. If a tool is temporarily down, try again later or email us.
6. Disclaimers
LLM responses change over time. A citation captured today may disappear tomorrow as models update. CitationDesk reports what we observed when we observed it; we do not guarantee any specific citation outcome on your content. The Citation Readiness Score is a heuristic — a high score correlates with citability but does not guarantee citation.
We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, or Google. The score is computed from your page's publicly served HTML and related files (robots.txt, llms.txt).
7. Limitation of liability
CitationDesk is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent Dutch law permits, we accept no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and EU consumers keep their statutory rights.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the Netherlands. EU consumers retain their statutory rights regardless of this clause.
9. Changes to these terms
We will note any material change at the top of this page with a new "last updated" date. There are no accounts to notify and nothing to cancel — if you don't accept a change, stop using the site.
